Here in New York, this past week has been full of rian and the temperature dropped below 50° on the coldest day. Unusual weather for the first week of October around these parts. (Thank you, Joaquin.) I've already made it clear that the thing I want most right now is to be back in California, standing next to the Pacific. There's something more powerful about the Pacific, and it's drawing me to it. Don't get me wrong, I love the fact that I can drive 20 minutes and be on the beach, standing face to face with the Atlantic. But the Pacific felt like familiar like an old friend who you haven't seen in years. Maybe it was it's clear, turquoise color. Maybe it was the fact that when I turned around I was face to face with the mountains.
I'm not really sure, to be honest. But it is my happy place; my place of calm and peace.
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
