I've always been drawn to the sense of peace that a cemetery holds. Since I was a kid, I've spent more time in them than I could even count. Cemeteries often bring people a feeling of sadness and loss, as they are reminded of loved ones who are no longer with us here on earth. But for whatever reason, they bring me an overwhelming feeling of peace. Rows upon rows of people, people who no longer feel the pain of this world. It's somewhat calming, if I am completely honest.
Durning my last trip of 2015, to Pittsburgh PA, I visited Allegheny Cemetery on a whim in an attempt to find something to do. Little did we know, that spontaneous trip to a random cemetery would bring about a peaceful adventure, among the dead and about twenty deer.
Below, find a few images I captured on that little trip to Allegheny Cemetery. I hope you do enjoy!!
